Justin Bieber's squeaky clean image has come under fire over the last week after photos of the star smoking what appears to be a blunt were published online and the 'Boyfriend' star is said to be devastated that one of his close friends have betrayed him.
The images, posted online by gossip site TMZ last week were reportedly taken in a hotel room in Newport Beach, California with the star holding an alleged blunt while surrounded by friends.
While he hasn't publicly commented on the incident, Biebs is said to be upset that he has been sold out by someone he trusted. An insider told the New York Post: “Justin feels betrayed by someone who sold these pictures for $25,000 who he thought was a friend.” but he deceived...
Following the publication of the pictures, Justin told his fans on Twitter that he was always “growing” and didn't want to let them down.
He said: “Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up . . . i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and thank u.”
The photos were published just days after the 'Baby' singer allegedly split from girlfriend of two years Selena Gomez.
The on-off couple were meant to be spending New Year's Eve together in Mexico, but the brunette reportedly left her teenage beau high and dry following an argument on December 30.
