While Selena Gomez does reveal to Seacrest that she bagan recording her new album back in October (right around the time she and on-and-off again  Justin Bieber were about to split for good), the stunning brunette songstress insists that the new song isn't about her former longtime beau.

"Honestly, actually, to be 100 percent real, it's not really about a specific person," 

the Spring Breakers star explains

 "The reason why I wanted this to be the first single was because it exudes, like I said earlier, confidence and strength, and that is something I'm willing to share with the world. That's the place I want to be in, and I want to represent something good and be a good example, so I think it's fun."

And as for her relationship status now... is Gomez dating anyone? Simply, "None... I'm available."
